A ONE-year-old baby has been found dead inside a home as cops arrest a man and a woman on suspicion of child neglect.
Police were called to a property in Atherstone, North Warwickshire, at around 11.50am today, September 11, following reports of a one-year-old girl suffering a cardiac arrest.
Despite the best efforts of the police and paramedics, she died.
A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect and they remain in custody at this time.
A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police said: “There is a scene in place and a partial road closure on Long Street and we would like to thank residents for their understanding.
“We know many will find this news upsetting.
