Four lucky Australians have scored a life-changing fortune after striking gold in Thursday night’s Powerball draw.

The four division one winners will each pocket a staggering $5,200,007.13 after correctly matching all seven winning numbers and the Powerball.

It means more than $20.8 million in prize money has been shared between the four winners in a spectacular night for Australian lottery players.

The winning numbers were 19, 10, 1, 14, 11, 32 and 16, while the all-important Powerball was 11.

Another 40 Australians scored a sizeable windfall in division two, correctly matching all seven winning numbers to claim $13,089.15 each.

But there was no WA winner among the division two haul.

A further 34 players also celebrated a hefty payday after matching six winning numbers and the Powerball.

Five of those winners were from WA, with each collecting a handy $19,046.15.

Thursday’s Powerball draw follows on from a Perth man’s huge Lotto jackpot over the weekend.

The 63-year-old punter discovered he was WA’s only division one winner just one day before his birthday, landing a staggering $2.1 million jackpot in the Saturday Lotto draw.

After years of buying weekly Slikpik tickets through Lotterywest Online, the Perth local had no idea he was the city’s newest millionaire until he received a phone call at work.
