Luke Littler swaps beloved kebabs and McDonald’s for healthy grub eaten by Man Utd stars in bid to shed pounds

DARTS ace Luke Littler is ditching junk food in favour of the healthy grub eaten by his heroes at Manchester United.

The teenage double world champion, known for his love of kebabs and burgers, is having calorie-controlled meals delivered to his home.

Luke, 19, of Warrington, Cheshire — who has spoken previously about shedding two stone to improve his stamina on stage — has enlisted chef Jaedon Kay to supply him.

Luke “the Nuke”, who has made £3million from darts, posted an Instagram snap of meals he has been sent, which cost around £150 a week.

Jaedon said: “I prepare meals for more than 10 Premier League footballers, including Man United players.

“What started as cooking for my family has grown into a business and millions watch my videos and want the chance to try one of my exclusive meal preps.

Littler also skipped the recent World Series visits to New Zealand and Australia last month.

PDC President Barry Hearn recently issued a warning to the sport’s biggest stars over regularly missing competitions.

But Littler believes his position at the top of the rankings gives him the freedom to be more selective, holding a huge £2.1million lead over Luke Humphries.

He said: “I think obviously it’s just what’s best for me and my family, just having those crucial days off.

“I think we’re going to see more days off just to rest.

“That’s all I’m doing. I’m obviously world number one, and there’s a massive gap between myself and world number two.

“I can sort of take that step back and not go chasing every single tournament.

“It allows me to have, obviously, days off and weeks off, and yeah, just about balancing the schedule.”
