ACTRESS Dakota Johnson has pulled the trigger on a romance with Machine Gun Kelly — after pal Taylor Swift played matchmaker.
Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota and the rapper, both 36, were said to have grown close at the music superstar’s wedding in July.

They enjoyed a weekend date at in New York, where Dakota was spotted heading to Taylor’s apartment alone — joined soon after by Kelly, real name Colson Baker.
The pair later headed to Michelin-starred restaurant Estela, and it is claimed they spent the night at a hotel.
A source said: “Dakota and Kelly were properly introduced and started hanging out after Taylor’s wedding.
“They are both single and getting to know each other.”

Dakota, daughter of Hollywood stars Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, dated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for eight years.
They were understood to have got engaged in 2020 but neither confirmed the news publicly.
The relationship fizzled out in June 2025 and last December Dakota was linked to US singer Role Model.
He later wrote a song called Love I You, which featured Dakota’s voice. He sings: “Hey, I think you’re perfect,” before Dakota can be heard saying: “You say that to everyone.”
