A MAN in his 20s has tragically died in a single vehicle tractor crash as cops appeal for information.
Police were alerted to the incident near St Austell, Cornwall, at around 10pm on Friday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving a tractor and a trailer on an unclassified road.
Sadly, a local man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene despite the best efforts of medics.
His next of kin have been informed of the tragedy and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The road remained closed as officers investigated the scene of the fatal crash.

Control of the road has since been handed over to highways and the vehicle involved in the deadly smash has been recovered.
An investigation into the smash remains ongoing with Devon and Cornwall Police appealing for any information that may assist its inquiries.
