RICKY Hatton’s family have paid tribute to him on the first anniversary of his death, with mum Carol saying: “Always loved. Always with us.”
Hatton took his own life at his home in Gee Cross, Gtr Manchester, after struggling with his mental health.

His death at 46 provoked an outpouring of grief from fight fans and the boxing world.
Carol posted a picture of her son on holiday with her and his dad, Ray, plus brother Matthew.
She added: “Remembering Richard in his happy place, which was Tenerife. I hope he is looking down on all his family as we carry on remembering him.
“Always loved. Always with us.”

Matthew, who was also a boxer, published pictures of the brothers throughout the years.
He added: “The world seems a little darker & certainly a lot less fun!
“Not a day goes by when we don’t speak about you.”
Ricky’s daughter Millie, 14, posted a montage of her and her dad having fun, along with the lyrics to Part of Your World from Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

An inquest in March ruled Hatton’s cause of death as hanging but a coroner could not say whether he intended to take his own life.
He had been in good spirits in the days before as he prepared for an exhibition bout.
