JUAN PABLO MONTOYA’S son was fined at the Spanish Grand Prix after a guest broke FIA sporting regulations.
Formula One cult hero Montoya, 50, was a special guest at the weekend’s inaugural Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid as his son, Sebastian, competed in Formula Two.

However, the 21-year-old driver was hit with a £430 (€500) fine after his sister, Paulina, didn’t wear the appropriate attire while on track.
Paulina, who turned 20 on the Friday at the track, was a special guest in the paddock alongside her father to support Sebastian during the race.
But on Friday she landed the Prema driver in hot water as she accidentally breached the FIA sporting regulations because of the dress she wore while standing on the track next to his car.
An FIA document explained that, having considered the matter extensively, the stewards deemed Paulina being near the car on track during the session and not wearing trousers to be a breach of rules.

The influencer, who has 39,000 followers on Instagram, was seen wearing a stylish white dress which went down to her knees as she celebrated her birthday.
Prema told stewards Paulina was a paddock guest and not an official team member, but were still found to be in breach of the regulations.
An FIA statement said: “The Race Director reminded the following to all the Competitors in Competition Notes in Madrid (art 11.1).
“Teams are reminded that guests are included in the category as defined in Article 20 of the ISC.

“Additionally, Article 9.15 of the ISC states that the Competitor is responsible for all acts or omissions on the part of any person to whom
the Competitor has allowed access to the reserved area.
“Furthermore, ‘Article 22.15 of the Sporting Regulations states all team and technical personnel must wear long trousers in the pit lane during all practice sessions and the races.
“Having considered the matter extensively, the Stewards determined that a team member of Car 11 near the car was not wearing long trousers during the session and therefore decided to fine the team €500.”
Prema has been approached for comment by SunSport.

Paulina joked about the bizarre fine with another post to her Instagram page the following day as she swapped the dress for trousers.
She captioned the post: “Appropriate attire,” followed by a blushing face emoji, while on Sunday she also wore a stunning white skirt that covered her legs all the way down.
Fans found the whole situation hilarious, with one saying: “Ahahaha 10/10 caption.”
A second said: “Ragebait FIA 10/10.”

A third added: “Ate with the caption.”
Another said: “Appropriate outfit FIA.”
A fifth said: “I’m not the one who makes the rules, but this outfit is a 10/10, girl, approved!”
On track, Montoya didn’t have the best weekend as he finished in 17th in the Sprint Race before following up with a 13th place finish in the feature race.
