A WOMAN has been arrested after a chemical substance incident as a man was rushed to hospital, cops said.
Emergency services scrambled to an address in Crawley, Sussex, today at around 5.10am.

A 40-year-old man was hurried to hospital to be treated for injuries as a 40-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Police said she was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
Cops cordoned off part of the road due to the incident as first responders remain at the scene.
There is not thought to be a wider risk to the public.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Emergency services responded to an incident involving a chemical substance which took place at an address in Fletcher Close, Southgate, Crawley on Sunday 13 September at around 5.10am.
“There is no wider risk to the public.
“A 40-year-old man has been taken to hospital to be treated for injuries, and a 40-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. She has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
“A temporary road closure was in place in Fletcher Close while emergency services remained at the scene.”
