IT is the stuff of nightmares – being dragged to the ground and raped while walking through a park.

So when Khloe Simmonds told police a sick attacker had struck in Hendon Park in North London in May 2018, a major manhunt was launched.

Of course, the police took it seriously.

And they did two months later when they received a 999 call from Simmonds claiming to have been orally raped at knifepoint.

This time Simmonds told officers that, while walking with a friend, the pair had been followed back to a hostel by a man who pulled a knife from his waistband and launched a sickening sex assault.

During that period hours of police work were carried out, with forensics carefully cultivated, fingerprints taken and sniffer dogs used.

Immigration services were even informed.

It had a devastating impact on the arrested man, whose brothers stopped talking to him and whose relationship ended.

He even tried to kill himself.

But it was just the start. Simmonds went on to accuse a chef of a date-rape attack after “turning creepy” on a Grindr hookup.

Over a seven-year period between July 2018 and January 2026, Simmonds reported no less than six men for rape and sexual assault.

Simmonds also called the police on multiple occasions – including 27 times one night.

At one point, Simmonds singlehandedly accounted for 2.5 per cent – or one in 40 – of all rape and serious sexual assault cases in Harrow, North West London.

They were all made up.

Simmonds’ web of lies finally collapsed in February 2026 when police arrested the fantasist after tracking vehicle GPS data of a taxi driver who too had been accused of rape.

Telematics proved the car had remained in motion above 25mph and had never stopped, proving the entire assault was physically impossible and completely fabricated.

After arrest, Simmonds confessed to making up the allegations while drunk.

On Monday at Harrow Crown Court, Simmonds – who refused to attend the dock in person and instead watched the start of the hearing via video link from HMP Wormwood Scrubs in West London before retreating to a cell – was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to eight counts of perverting the course of justice.

Defence solicitor Dominic Benthall said that Simmonds had ADHD, autism and was dependent on alcohol.

And he even compared Simmonds to Westminster paedophile-ring fantasist Carl Beech.

The notorious liar pretended he was one of the victims of an apparent demonic VIP sex ring that existed in the 1970s and 1980s.

Prosecutor Ben Temple told how Simmonds victims’ lives had been devastated.

All the men Simmonds’ accused always denied the allegations.

The chef – who spent 20 hours in police custody – told police he merely hugged Simmonds and felt deeply uncomfortable by the messiness of the fantastists’ home.

He said Simmonds told him “My breasts are false. It’s not worth it” and was dancing around, singing: “Am I going to get lucky?” the night of their date.

“It has destroyed my life,” he said in a victim impact statement.

Judge John Lodge blasted Simmonds’ behaviour, saying it showed a “sustained pattern of conduct.”

“It was not isolated incidents but a pattern of established conduct making false allegations,” he said.

“You demonstrated an increasing awareness of forensic techniques and investigative processes. They showed you knowing more and more about how these matters are investigated.”

And he highlighted an important issue – how Simmonds’ actions cost the police, taking away money that should have been spent investigating actual crimes, and decreasing public confidence in the criminal justice system.

“Your conduct caused a serious impact on the administration of justice,” he said.
