CONOR BENN took to social media to congratulate Ryan Garcia following his brutal loss to the American.
The British hopeful, 29, was stopped in just two rounds by the WBC welterweight champion in Las Vegas.
Benn was immediately taken to hospital for checks following his defeat.
Despite this, he did take time to update fans with an 11-word post on X.
Benn’s post read: “Not my night, no excuses. @RyanGarcia you’re a great champion”.
Garcia, 28, dominated the brief Sin City bout.

After his latest triumph, the 26-2 star thanked the people of Mexico before vowing to clean out the division.
Garcia said: “I have always had the right hand, but I carried a lot of injuries so I couldn’t really show it.
“I know people question my Mexican heritage because I don’t speak Spanish.
“But I always feel my people with me and I do it for them.
“Teofimo Lopez can get it next. I want to clean the division out; I want Devin Haney‘s a** again, too.”
