And the American champion looked to push Benn’s buttons by munching a boiled egg on stage at the press conference.
He was later caught with an egg in his pocket by security just before their face-off – forced to hand it over.
Benn failed a drug test in 2022 before his scheduled 157lb catchweight clash with born family rival Chris Eubank Jr.
And the WBC infamously suggested the failed test for clomiphene – known to boost testosterone – could have been down to contaminated eggs.

Benn vowed to fight his innocence and took his career to America for two wins at 150lb after his British Boxing Board of Control licence was suspended.
Eventually, the UK Anti-Doping case against him was dropped – allowing for a two-fight series with Eubank last year – this time at middleweight.
And Eubank, 36, spent the lead-up to the fight branding Benn, 29, a “cheat” while slapping him across the face with an egg at a press conference.
Eubank won the initial fight but lost the rematch in November.

Ryan Garcia will make the first defence of his WBC welterweight title against British superstar Conor Benn THIS Saturday.
The blockbuster Las Vegas event is under the arm of Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing promotion.
Garcia, 28, captured his first world title in February by securing a dominant unanimous decision victory over Mario Barrios.
Benn, 29, is challenging for a world title for the first time in his professional career.
His sole professional defeat came against domestic rival Chris Eubank Jr in April 2025, a loss he quickly avenged with a dominant unanimous decision victory in their November 2025 rematch.
Benn enters the biggest bout of his life following a decisive points win over former world champion Regis Prograis in April, which marked his debut under Zuffa Boxing.

Despite Garcia failing to pull off the same on-stage prank as Eubank, he was quick to reference Benn’s failed test on stage.
Scoffing the boiled egg, Garcia, 28, said: “He has a lot of familiarity with eggs, so I thought it was fair that I eat some today.
“And it actually needs some honey on it. It’s a bit dry.”
Benn’s last fight was down at 150lb when he laboured to a points victory against 37-year-old former light-welterweight champ Regis Prograis.
And much has been made of his cut back down to the 147lb limit again.
But Benn said: “I’ll be disciplined. I’ll turn up, I’ll make the weight tomorrow, easy, no problem. And I’m prepared for a hard fight.
“I’ve never shied away for a fight. Never shied away from a challenge. I’m here and I’m ready for it. End of. All the talking’s done.
“There’s no need to say anything. There’s no need for me to comment on his appearance or how he looks.”
