MICHAEL OLISE gave a painfully awkward interview after starring in Bayern Munich’s Champions League thumping of Bodo/Glimt.
The winger, 24, scored twice and set up another for Harry Kane during the 5-0 rout.

After the match, Olise spoke to German broadcaster DAZN.
If fans expected their man to appear jubilant, they were very wrong.
Asked how it felt to score such a great goal, Olise bluntly said: “I don’t know.”
Quizzed again, the winger merely shrugged.

The reporter then tried to ask “how it happens” – with Olise adding: “I shoot. And then it goes in, or it doesn’t go in.”
It was then pointed out that if it was so easy, everyone would do it.
Olise shut this down, adding: “I’m not the only one that can score a goal. I don’t think so.”
The German reporter said: “You’re making it quite hard for me to do an interview. What makes you happy? What makes you laugh?”

Olise stared blankly into space before replying: “Yeah.”
He then exited the awkward exchange, which subsequently went viral on social media.
DAZN themselves posted it to X, with the message: “Olise interview? Mission Impossible!”
Plenty of fans also had their say, with one writing on Reddit: “People must dread interviewing him lmao”.
Another sarcastically added: “Very insightful, thank you Michael!”
This was far from being Olise’s first awkward interview.
An interview alongside Kane went viral in April 2025, as Olise barely contributed at all.
And another blunt response following Bayern’s 10-0 Club World Cup triumph over Auckland City also set tongues wagging.
