MATHEUS CUNHA was left startled after being charged at by a pitch invader following Manchester United’s Champions League win over Sabah.
The Red Devils cruised to a 4-0 victory over the European debutants on Thursday.
Cunha broke the deadlock in the 27th minute, with Bruno Fernandes, Benjamin Sesko and Lisandro Martinez also getting on the scoresheet.
After the match, Cunha was making his way off the pitch with Fernandes when a fan jumped on and started running at him.
The 27-year-old was not aware of the pitch invader until the last moment.
Video footage appeared to show him flinching as the person got closer.

However, the fan was tackled to the ground by three stewards just as he reached Cunha.
The Brazilian initially looked as though he asked the stewards to calm down.
However, when they continued to pin him to the floor, the United star walked away with Fernandes.
Cunha appeared in shock as he continued to leave the pitch.

The United star scored his first-ever Champions League goal against Sabah.
After the match, head coach Michael Carrick said: “It’s nice to have a clean sheet and obviously win the game.
“There was a lot – some of our attacking play was fantastic, some of the football we played was really good.
“We were dangerous on the transition and defended, for the most part, really well. They are a tough team to play against.
“The result looks comfortable but it wasn’t always like that. We’ve done a lot of good things tonight, which gave us a good result.”
