EASTENDERS fans think they have clocked a major murder twist which would link Max Branning to being the cause of Zoe Slater’s death.
Fans were left baffled when Michelle Ryan’s character Zoe was found dead in bed after a minor fall earlier in the week.

Zoe and Max were spotted with each other in the Vic just hours before she passed.
Zoe had been seen battling an awful headache throughout the day and started wandering the Vic to try and find some painkillers.
She soon encountered Max Branning having a cosy moment with Linda Carter – despite having only married Cindy Beale earlier that day.
Zoe was livid at seeing the pair together and Max soon followed her back up to her bedroom.

They rowed over his many ongoing affairs and sexual conquests and amid the heated exchange, Max brushed Zoe off him and she fell backwards onto her bed.
He soon stormed off and amid her pounding headache from before, Zoe could be heard crying out for her mum.
It has now sparked a theory that Max could actually be arrested and jailed for the murder of Zoe.
Fans who watched the New Year’s Day episode saw a flash-forward which saw Max arrested for a murder.

Speculation is now rife that this could be Zoe – and the things could be linked.
Fuelling the fire, one fan said: “OMG!!! Could Zoe be the so called ‘Murder’ Max is blamed for in the flash forward?
“Even though all he actually did was push her onto the bed, clearly already bleeding internally, not that he knew that.
“Kat knew she was injured though & didn’t check on her sooner, why?”
Elsewhere in the episode, later in the night, Kat could hear Zoe’s cat crying to be let into her bedroom.
Taking her inside, Kat was confused as she saw Zoe laid in bed still fully dressed.
Questioning what she was doing dressed, she rolled Zoe over and was left horrified to discover that she was dead.
It appeared that Zoe had died from the trauma of her head injury earlier in the week.
