TRURO CITY have published plans for a stadium spruce-up which could cost £60MILLION.

If it goes ahead, the proposal will boost the 3,000 capacity of the Truro Community Stadium and develop the land around the ground.

Plans involve the construction of a new clubhouse, new homes on the plot, a community centre, retail units and a 3G pitch.

The project would be funded privately or paid for by institutional investors.

And Truro hope building work can begin in under two years, with the planning process expected to take up to a year.

The Tinners moved into their new stadium in 2024, won promotion to the National League in their first season and were then relegated last term.

Truro City chief executive Robin Karkeek said: “Truro City is on a journey of continual improvement in everything we do.

“We have reached a real milestone opportunity for development in and around the Truro City stadium site, that will underpin the needs of the club for future generations.
