AFTER 213 days, the NFL finally returns tonight with a rematch of Super Bowl 60!
The Seattle Seahawks host the New England Patriots in the opening game of the season at Lumen Field.
Sam Darnold and Co dominated Mike Vrabel’s side in the showpiece match last season to claim their first Lombardi Trophy since 2014.
The schedule for the 2026 season was released back in May, and we have been treated to some blockbuster games in the opening week.
Super Bowl favourites LA Rams open their season in Melbourne against NFC West rivals San Francisco 49ers – it is the first time the sport will be taken to Australia as part of the league’s International Series.
Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills head on the road to the Houston Texans to open their account this season in a rematch of last season the Bills lost in Texas last year after Allen threw two interceptions.

- In the US, the game will be broadcast exclusively on NBC.

San Francisco 49ers @ LA Rams – Thursday, September 10, 8.35pm ET (Friday, 1.35am BST)
- This game will be exclusively shown live on Netflix across the globe as part of their broadcast deal with the NFL.
- The streaming giants have expanded their coverage this season, with them also set to show matches on Thanksgiving Eve and two games on Christmas Day.
- In total, Netflix will stream five regular season games this season.
