KIMI RAIKKONEN’S 11-year-old son Robin has joined Red Bull’s Junior Team.
The Finnish starlet will look to emulate his former world champion father as he makes his latest step in the world of motorsport.

Kimi, now 46, won the F1 world title in 2007 and triumphed in 21 races during his illustrious career.
His boy will now be nurtured by the Red Bull Junior Team, which has previously been home to the likes of Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen.
Upon the announcement, Raikkonen Sr said: “We are all thrilled and excited that Robin has been chosen to further his racing path as a member of the Red Bull Junior Team.
“Laurent (Mekies) and everyone else at Red Bull have been incredibly supportive throughout all our discussions.

“They offer a compelling and comprehensive programme to develop and nurture Robin’s progress over the coming years and provide him with all the experience required to develop his natural talent, which has amply been displayed in all his karting endeavours to date.”
Red Bull team principal Mekies gushed over Robin’s talent before outlining how the junior programme will aim to develop him.
The Frenchman, 49, said: “Robin has already demonstrated exceptional ability in karting.
“His speed, racecraft and natural talent have established him as one of the most promising young drivers in his age group.
