WARMER weather is set to return to parts of the UK this month after a rainy start to September.
Temperatures could reach 23C in the coming weeks, offering pleasant conditions for the beginning of autumn.
Rainy conditions and grey clouds will disappear this weekend as warmer 23C temperatures return to parts of the UK.
This comes after Brits faced a chillier start to the day today, with temperatures ranging between 12C and 14C across the country this morning.
London, parts of Essex and Kent will all record temperatures of 23C at 4pm this Saturday, as other parts of the country are hit by a band of rain.
Rain is set to linger for the most part tomorrow as conditions move eastwards, pushing across Wales and Manchester before hitting Yorkshire and the North East.

The rain is expected be particularly heavy in the north of England, whereas the south will remain dry into the evening.
Moving into the weekend, the Met Office says Brits should be “feeling a little warmer by Saturday”, with sunnier interludes in the north on Friday and the south on Saturday.
By Sunday, even larger parts of the country will enjoy warmer conditions, with Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds and York recording highs of 20C in the afternoon.
Following a warmer Sunday, the capital will also enjoy 23C temperatures again on Monday.

These conditions come after the UK experienced its warmest summer on record, with temperatures soaring to over 38C on the hottest day of the year.
Five heatwaves between May and August have left three-quarters of England in drought conditions and 27million Brits under hosepipe bans.
According to the Met Office, the end of September and beginning of October is forecast to bring more “changeable” conditions, with a “greater chance of rain or showers in place”.
With temperatures likely to be “a little above average overall” as autumn continues, 23C conditions over the weekend may be a rare chance to enjoy the sun again before the end of the year.
