LOVE Island’s Priya Jaswal and Aidan Murphy have split after realising they’re better off as friends.
The couple surprised fans when they decided to give things a go in the real world after calling it a day in the villa, the night before they left in sixth place.
And they seemed to be going from strength to strength, sharing date nights and memories but now an insider has spilled why they’ve now decided to call time on their romance.
A source said: “Since leaving Love Island and experiencing life outside together, Aidan and Priya have realised they’re better off as mates.
“They had a rollercoaster friends to lovers journey on the show and there were times they thought that could translate outside the villa but they’ve decided they’re just better suited as friends.
“This is totally mutual and they have loved their time together so will be cheering each other on as they navigate the next chapter solo.”

Love Island couple SPLIT – just weeks after leaving the villa
Last week Priya was grilled about the relationship on The Only Way Is Essex‘s podcast with Billie Shepherd.
She said that while they weren’t officially boyfriend and girlfriend, they were dating and had been “inseparable” since leaving the villa in July.
But Priya admitted that Aidan had never done the friends-to-lovers journey with anyone before and that there wasn’t initially a romantic spark between them.
Despite this, she insisted things were “going really well” and called Aidan “such a nice boy”.

The pair’s connection was rocky to say the least in the villa.
Aidan called things off shortly before the pair were dumped from the show in order to protect their friendship, but days later during the live final they revealed they had rekindled romantically.
Meanwhile, Aidan’s brother Kavan’s romance with Jasmine Muller is going from strength to strength.
The pair finished runners-up to Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Mayska but appear to be the real series winners after officially becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.
In a TikTok clip posted last night, giddy Jasmine said: “We did it very subtle, we did it very cute, very private.”
Reps for Priya and Aidan were approached for comment.
