LIZZIE BENNET (1.12 Leicester, nap)
Caught the eye with a promising debut second at Carlisle last month. She missed the break but was soon travelling along sweetly and got up the hill strongly enough. The winner and third have both struck since so the form looks solid enough. Tom Eaves didn’t ask too many questions last time and so there should be a lot more to come with that good start under her belt.
MAGIC HARRY (2.17 Leicester, nb)
Can conjure up a win. He’s another who showed lots on debut when a decent third at Pontefract 23 days ago. He went well enough but looked in need of further in the closing the stages. Tom Clover steps him up a furlong here, which should help, and he doesn’t need a lot more.
TAAKLAM (4.11 Catterick, treble)
Landed a deserved first win at Southwell last time and looks capable of following up. He hit the front a fair way out and kept up the gallop. A 6lb penalty shouldn’t be a problem with his yard in good form.
