Distressing footage – which The Sun has chosen not to show in full – shows a mob of Taliban thugs assault a local welder as a young boy watches.

The brutal attack was recorded in Herat, an Afghan province on the Iranian border, at around 5.22pm last Friday, lasting less than a minute.
The victim, who is wearing a blue robe, appears to be lured to street before evil Taliban officials ambush him.
They are seen repeatedly punching and slapping the man, before dragging him to the floor and tying his hands behind his back.
Ruthless Taliban security commander Sayed Ahmad Mohammadi, the alleged ringleader, is seen beating the man with a rifle.

When the man tries to flee, one of his assailants appears to draw a gun and shoot at him as a bystander tries to intervene.
Local sources identified the victim as Abdul Qadir, a welder who, according to his family, had no links to any political or militant group and had never previously been arrested by the Taliban.
Those close to Abdul said that the Taliban should have brought him before a court if he had committed a crime.
But reports say his mother’s calls for the Taliban to investigate the killing have been ignored and she has been intimidated into dropping the case.

The attack footage appears to show Mohammadi carrying out the attack alongside his brother and brother-in-law.
Sources allege that the thug promised the latter that he could marry his sister if he helped with the execution.
Sayed Masoud Hosseini, the spokesman for the Herat Police Command, said initial findings indicated that the case “has its roots in personal enmity and has no connection to public insecurity”.
After the video did the rounds on social media, the Taliban announced that it had detained the suspects, but did not elaborate.
They have still brought no charges against Abdul and have instead pressured his family into dropping the case.
It comes amid a slew of horrific Taliban executions, with the group killing dozens of Afghans they accuse of working for opposition groups.
Medieval public executions have seen roaring crowds gather in sports stadiums to watch.
In December, a teenage boy was watched shooting his family’s killer in front of a crowd big enough to fill Wembley.

Spectators to the grim event were banned from bringing phones with cameras, local media reported.
