A MYSTERY woman has been spotted by the grave of a newborn baby who was strangled and dumped in a lake over thirty years ago.
The visitor was seen at Bybrook Cemetery in Ashford, Kent back in June, where Baby April was buried, and appeared to be distressed.

Thought to have been just a week old, the tot’s tiny body was found wrapped in plastic bags at a local beauty spot on April 5 1995.
Cops have been unable to trace the child’s parents or any relatives, despite attempting a DNA test in 2011.
But now, they believe they have a lead, with onlookers describing the mystery visitor as a woman in her 40s, white, around 5ft 7in and of a slim build.
She was reportedly wearing a grey short cardigan, trainers and black trainers, with grey shoulder-length hair.

She was also seen carrying a small shoulder bag and a fabric holdall with a floral pattern, which appeared to be full.
Kent Police released a computer-generated image of the woman, according to the description, in the hope of making a breakthrough.
Cops are calling on the public for information that may help the investigation.
Baby April was discovered at Singleton Lake in Ashford by a teen couple.

She had been strangled with a pair of tights then wrapped up in Kleenex toilet bag before placed inside another plastic bag.
Cops say the baby had likely been born between March 25 and April 3 in 1995 – just a week before she was discovered.
The helpless tot was thought to have been born without medical intervention, due to the roughly severed umbilical cord.
Officers launched a murder investigation following the harrowing discovery but were unable to find the parents.
They exhumed her body in 2011 to analyse DNA before she was laid to rest again at the cemetery in Ashford.
In 2025, experts at the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate hoped to progress the investigation using more advanced DNA profiling and forensic science.
DI Lee Neiles said: “This is a horrific case of a newborn baby girl being killed and discarded in a lake.”
“April would be 30 years old now and who knows what she would be contributing to society, but someone ended her life in the most unimaginable way and prevented that young baby growing up to be a girl and a woman.
“I have no doubt someone out there has information in relation to this case, and now that three decades have passed, it has to be the time to do the right thing and come forward so that we can get justice for April.
“Advances in forensic science, particularly familial DNA, now give us an even better chance of establishing who her parents are.
“We urge the mother of April to come forward now, rather than we come to you.”
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Kimber said: “Baby April was named after the month she was born.
“Despite ongoing inquiries since that time, her parents and true identity to this date have never been found.
