THIS is the revolting moment a newborn rat is found wriggling in the sauce of a beef takeaway by a disgusted customer.
One diner was left horrified in Hong Kong when her beef satay contained a second meaty surprise.
Horrifying footage shows a slimy malformed creature squirming beside the spaghetti in the £4.50 (HK$48) dish.
Pink, hairless and with limbs not yet fully formed the newborn rat can be seen wiggling its arms and legs from within the depths of a pale brown sauce.
The takeaway set meal should have included beef satay rice noodles, a ham omelete and a drink.
But when the customer opened the styrofoam box – she lifted the lid on a harrowing hygiene mishap.

The unlucky woman swiftly filmed the culinary catastrophe – and reported the Wa Jer Restaurant to the Food and Environmental Hygiene Departmenton Monday.
Officials have been left scratching their heads as to how the box could have been served with the newborn rat inside.
A health department spokesperson said they had prompty seized the foul food for testing – and after investigating the restauarant, found it to have “unsatisfactory hygiene conditions”.
The disgraced establishment has been ordered to make immediate improvements – and reportedly deep-cleaned the diner the day after the rat scandal.

Left shocked by the incident, the unnamed restaurant owner refused to speculate on whether the sickening dish was some sort of twisted prank.
The Wa Jer restaurant on Wah Sing Street opened just over a year ago and has so far not had any issues with vermin, he claimed.
Though he admitted that rodents run free in the city, he said the restaurant undergoes deep cleans every month.
The investigation by the Food and Hugiene department is ongoing.
A health department spokesperson said: “Regarding the suspected discovery of a baby rat in takeaway food, the department is conducting an investigation covering various aspects including food preparation, packaging, storage, and delivery.
“At this stage, it is inappropriate to jump to conclusions as to when and how the baby rat got into the food based solely on online video clips or the finding of a suspected baby rat in the food.”
