The families of two teenagers who died in a three-car horror crash have paid heartbreaking tributes to them.
Joshua Farris and Max Redding, both 19, died in the collision in the village of East Clandon, Surrey, late on August 21.
Surrey Police arrested three people on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after the crash, which involved three Seat Leons at just after 11pm.
Max a keen rugby player from Woking who previously played for Guildfordians Rugby Club, was an “exceptional athlete” described by the club as “humble, respectful and deeply committed to his teammates”.
His distraught family today paid their own emotional tribute, adding: “His life was tragically cut short far too soon, and the loss we feel is immeasurable.
“He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, work colleagues and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

“Max was a brilliant sportsman. He took part in gymnastics and trampolining, competing in numerous tournaments, before going on to develop a real passion for rugby.
“Whatever Max chose to do, he threw himself into it, whether it was sport, his work or something he simply enjoyed – he always gave it everything he had.
“Max loved life and lived it to its fullest. Since his passing, the messages and tributes we have received have shown us just how many lives he had touched.
“We have heard from so many friends about the kindness and support Max showed them, particularly during difficult times in their own lives.

“Knowing how loved he was, and hearing the difference he made to so many people, has made us incredibly proud of the young man he became.”
Joshua, an apprentice mechanic also from Woking, “had his whole life ahead of him” according to his parents in their own tribute.
They said: “Joshua had a kind and thoughtful nature and would do anything for anyone. He was always willing to help others, whether family, friends or someone in need, and he never expected anything in return.
“He brought so much joy to the people around him and was loved by everyone who knew him.
“His caring personality, loyalty and willingness to put others before himself made him a truly special young man.
“The loss of Joshua has left a huge hole in our hearts. While we are devastated by his passing, we will always cherish the memories we shared with him and the happiness he brought to our lives.
“We would like to thank everyone for their kindness, support and condolences during this incredibly difficult time.
“Joshua will be deeply missed every day, but he will never be forgotten.”
