SUN snapper Arthur Edwards has spent 50 years photographing the royals – and now he’s written a book detailing his incredible career.
The photographer, who is still working full-time at the age of 86, has documented 200 royal tours in more than 120 countries.

Since taking his first picture of Prince Charles at a polo match in 1976, he has covered seven royal weddings, five royal funerals, seven royal births, three jubilees and a coronation.
Arthur, who received an MBE for outstanding services to newspapers in 2003, was the first press photographer to picture Lady Diana Spencer – and he revealed she was the girl that Prince Charles would marry.
For 17 years, until Diana’s tragic death in 1997, he accompanied her all over the world and went on to become her favourite photographer.
Dad-of-three Arthur is now beloved by many royals, including King Charles, Queen Camilla and Prince William.
