JACQUELINE Jossa has hinted she has quit EastEnders in a worrying sign for fans, amid an ongoing cast exodus.

The actress has played Lauren Branning since 2010, leaving in 2018 and then making her most recent comeback in 2022.

However, she has now removed all mention of the soap from her social media bio, sparking concern she is the latest star to be leaving the scandal hit soap.

Her profile used to read: “Currently @bbceastenders as Lauren Branning”.

But that has now been removed leaving just her role as founder of her acting academy.

The upcoming flashforward on New Year’s Day will leave Jacqueline’s character Lauren’s life hanging in the balance alongside her brother Oscar as they are held at gunpoint.

The Sun recently revealed that Oscar actor Pierre Counihan-Moullier has quit the soap and will soon film his final scenes.

An EastEnders spokesperson insisted however, that Jac is not going anywhere, saying:  “Jacqueline Jossa is not leaving EastEnders”

An insider adds “This story is just speculative nonsense, Jacqueline simply updated her Instagram page to simplify it, it was nothing more than that.”

We also revealed that Ravi Gulati star Aaron Thiara, 33, out of the door later this year after fours years on set.

And last month, The Sun exclusively revealed that Michelle Ryan’s alter-ego Zoe Slater would die in one of the ‘blandest’ deaths in the BBC soap’s history.

Michelle originally played the role of Zoe in EastEnders between 2000 and 2005, and last year she made an epic return.

But now she has been axed just a year after her long-awaited comeback.

We also revealed the huge news of Kellie Bright’s decision to bow out of Albert Square.

Kellie arrived in Albert Square with on-screen husband Danny Dyer in 2013 to take over the Queen Vic pub.

Danny left three years ago but Kellie was keen to continue Linda’s story.

She was the centre of The Six plot, in which Linda was revealed as Keanu Taylor’s killer on Christmas Day 2023 following the gripping flash-forward episode.
