I’M currently in Italy, Lake Como to be exact. It’s the Monza Grand Prix, and Aston Martin is hosting me and my influencer pal Isobel for a three-day, fast-car-fuelled weekend.
But it wasn’t the carbs or the cars that wooed us here – we were more curious about the F1 WAGs. Or “influencer royalty”, as I like to call them.

It got me thinking about my first-ever royal experience.
Twelve years ago, a whisky brand called Royal Salute invited me to watch Prince Harry play polo in Palm Beach – he was raising cash for charity, while I was raising tumblers of whisky for the ‘gram!
Harry and I are only two years apart in age – he turns 42 next week – and while we probably don’t have much more than that in common, I found him to be thoroughly charming.
This was pre-Meghan, and he was a single chap, so it was no surprise when he made a beeline for our table of 20-somethings and charmed the pants off the lot of us.
But what I especially liked about chatting with Harry was just how inquisitive and curious he was.
He confessed he had no clue how content creation and influencers worked, and there was an honesty to him. It’s fair to say, I liked the guy – a charismatic and clever bloke who I’m grateful I got to meet.
Maybe now he’s back in the UK, our paths will cross again. I share a birthday with Meghan, so I reckon we’d get on. Leos generally do.
But back to the F1 royalty and, more importantly, what they’re wearing.
Since the recent Netflix series Formula 1: Drive To Survive, F1 WAGs have become the ultimate It girls, and I reckon fashion brands are paying them handsomely to wear their garms.
The mystery that surrounds them is intoxicating, like watching exotic creatures.
We never hear them speak, but we get to observe from a distance their individual personalities through their killer outfits.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc’s wife Alexandra Mleux is my fave, and I’m very much enjoying her style this season.
She actually turned me on to Australian fashion brand Meshki. It’s so inspiring when celebrities mix designer with high street, like she does. It makes them feel that little bit more accessible.
And, randomly, Williams driver Carlos Sainz’s partner Rebecca Donaldson used to work for me. She was my ecommerce model when I created collections for a fashion brand back in 2018.
I remember her sliding into my DMs and asking if she could model for me. She’s probably the coolest of the WAGs and she understands masculine tailoring like no one else. I hope Carlos doesn’t drop the ball with her. She’s a good ‘un.
Disappointingly, I haven’t yet spotted Kim Kardashian this weekend. She really is the ultimate influencer, and now, with Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton on her arm, chief WAG.

THIS WEEK I’M…
Buying. . . Cosmetic Consult Miracle Cryo Eye Masks
They are like gold dust and a little pricey, but the search is definitely worth it.
Watching. . . Rush
It may have been released 13 years ago, but this F1 film never gets old. I still think Chris Hemsworth deserved an Oscar.
Lounging on. . . Giuggiola
I just ordered this fab Italian swivel chair from Sofology. It’s incredible – like a piece of art.
Dating the “people’s prince” is probably the most Kardashian-coded thing I’ve seen her do.
And while the rumours are that this is a showmance of epic proportions, she gets a free pass while she’s dating our F1 champ.
As you can see, as someone who loves a fast car, this Passenger Princess is hooked.
