OLIVIA Attwood has her sights set on America.

But the ex-Love Island star is not interested in making a name for herself across the pond on reality TV, like her rival Maura Higgins has done.

Olivia, 35, has forged a successful career away from reality TV, turning her talents to documentary-making, podcast hosting and appearing as a panellist on Loose Women.

But now she’s conquered the UK, her attention is turning to the US, with Olivia telling the Mail that she’d like to go “transatlantic” with her TV projects.

In a subtle dig at Maura, Olivia said that she’s “definitely not in a stage where I want to take part in any kind of reality [TV]”, following Maura’s success on the US version of The Traitors which has subsequently landed her a role on Dancing With The Stars, the US version of Strictly Come Dancing.

“What I want and what is hopefully going to happen is that my formats become transatlantic.

“I want to nurture the formats that I’ve been building, Bad Boyfriends, The Price Of Perfection, all of that. I think it’s about how I can take that there.

“My podcast is already doing big numbers in the US and we filmed out there last year.

“So I think it’s about just basically bringing my two audiences together. That would be like, that’s kind of what we’re focusing on.”

Olivia and Maura are said to be embroiled in a feud, given the similar patterns in their careers.

Both worked in promotions for Monster Energy before starring on different seasons of Love Island UK, both then going on to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Maura’s trajectory seemed to take more time, blowing up earlier this year when she was cast in The Traitors US – a gig that has not only landed her on Dancing With The Stars, but also hosting roles on a Blind Date reboot as well as a US relaunch of I’m A Celeb!

The drama between the two has been brewing for several years and is now at boiling point, with Olivia said to be livid after Maura appeared in an Instagram snap with Parisian fashion influencer Michael Coste just days after Olivia had shared her own shot with him.

Olivia was said to be irritated that Maura followed her to PR agency Align, which specialises in growing careers in America – a move that has worked very well for the Irish beauty.

A source previously told The Sun that: “Olivia is bemused that Maura has continued to mirror her playbook. She even jokes with her friends that Maura is her stalker.”

Maura was said to be furious at the “stalker” remark, making her more determined to crack America.

Following her Traitors stint, Maura was suddenly famous in the US, invited to attend one of the biggest events in the sporting and showbusiness calendar: the Super Bowl.

One pal who saw her at the American football event said: “Maura was like the cat who got the cream and loved every second of it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her smile so much.”
