AJAX ace Aaron Bouwman was rushed to hospital after suffering a bruised lung from a horror clash with PSV Eindhoven star Ruben van Bommel.
The Dutch giants suffered a 3-1 loss to rivals PSV on Saturday at the Johan Cruyff Arena and saw Bouwman, 19, hurt ten minutes before full-time.

Ruben, 22, who is the son of the legendary Mark van Bommel, arrived late and flew into a challenge with the centre-back who tried to head the ball away.
The heavy collision left the Ajax ace on the ground and clearly struggling as a wild brawl ensued between both sets of players with the hosts enraged with the winger’s actions.
And the Amsterdam outfit took no chances as they sent Bouwman to hospital after the match.
Ajax later announced tests showed the Netherlands Under-19 international suffered several injuries, including a bruised lung as he significantly hurt his sternum.

The defender has thus been sidelined for the rest of the month.
Ajax announced: “Aaron Bouwman will not be in action again during the month of September.
“Examinations showed that Bouwman suffered several injuries, including bruising to his sternum and a bruised lung.
“He remains in hospital on Sunday for observation. Get well soon, Aaron!”

Ruben received some scathing criticism after the match with Dutch commentator Hugo Borst describing his actions as an “assassination attempt”.
Borst joined an ESPN panel who also likened the incident to the infamous moment when Germany goalkeeper Harald Schumacher violently collided with France legend Patrick Battiston during the 1982 World Cup semi-final.
However, PSV director of football Earnest Stewart revealed Ruben felt very guilty and was quite shaken after the final whistle.
The Netherlands Under-21 international then visited Ajax’s dressing room to apologise.
Stewart said: “After the match, he went into Ajax’s dressing room to apologise. Emotions came into it as well.”
Ruben is following in his father’s footsteps in the same club that led him to legendary status after two stints.
Mark, 49, made a career as a tough tackler in midfield during his time with PSV, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, AC Milan and the Netherlands.
