FORMULA ONE returns to one of its most famous racetracks this weekend at Monza, but the grid will be missing one of it’s regular stars in Italy.
The Italian Grand Prix has been home to some of the most iconic moments in F1 history.

Mercedes come into Monza leading both the constructors and drivers championship with Kimi Antonelli, but their lead at the top has been cut in the past two races.
That is due to Lando Norris winning in both Hungary and the Netherlands to pick up McLaren‘s first two wins of the 2026 season.
Italy’s Antonelli will be the favourite this week, though, as he drives in his home race for just the second time – he finished ninth on his debut last year.
However, the 20-year-old will have both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc to contend with this weekend as the Ferrari duo eye another famous win for the Tifosi.

Why is Isack Hadjar not racing for Red Bull at the Italian Grand Prix?
Isack Hadjar is out of the Italian Grand Prix after fracturing his wrist during F1’s summer break.
The 21-year-old missed the Dutch GP two weeks ago with the same problem, with medical staff still not declaring him fit enough to race.
Red Bull hope he will return for the sport’s first race in Madrid since 1981 next week, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
The injury was sustained during training, with the fracture occuring after Hadjar punched a sand-filled heavy bag during drills.

The Frenchman is reportedly a keen boxer who uses the sport as a way to keep fit enough to race for Red Bull.
Once again, Liam Lawson has been promoted from Racing Bulls and will be alongside Max Verstappen in place of Hadjar.
Yuki Tsunoda has been given another chance at the Racing Bulls, continuing his brief return to the F1 paddock – the Japanese driver finished 12th at Zandvoort last time out.
