ENERGY Secretary Miatta Fahnbulleh has been accused of hypocrisy due to her husband’s ties to the oil industry.

Graham Ewen, 47, has worked at UK investment firm North Rock Capital for four years.

It is owned by US finance giant Lighthouse Partners, which last year held shares worth tens of millions in major North American oil and gas producers.

Ms Fahnbulleh’s policy decisions, which also cover Net Zero, have the potential to affect energy share prices worldwide.

And the revelation puts her in the line of fire again after she was criticised last month for sending her children to private school.
