ONCE crowned the winner of Katie Price’s model search show, Amy Willerton quickly became a familiar face on the glitzy showbiz circuit and landed a string of reality TV appearances.
She went on to star in The Jump and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, where she famously grew close to Towie favourite Joey Essex.

But after dominating headlines for much of the 2010s, the former Miss Universe Great Britain appeared to step away from the celebrity circuit.
Now 34, she looks worlds away from her glamour model days after turning her back on fame in favour of a stripped-back spiritual lifestyle.
The former beauty queen now lives a quieter life in her hometown of Bristol, focusing less on the spotlight and more on spirituality and wellbeing.
She is next set to lead a workshop at the Luminaries Summit, a six-day spiritual gathering taking place in Croatia this month.

Amy has even branched out into spiritual music, releasing her first mantra track alongside an illustration of herself while pregnant.
Sharing the track on Instagram, she said it was “born to soothe a woman preparing to give birth”.
The star became a mum to daughter Demelza in January 2020, her first child with fiancé Daniel Day.
Explaining her dramatic reinvention, Amy revealed she had struggled with her mental health and felt increasingly disconnected from her former public life.

Writing about her experiences as a model, she shared on Instagram: “By 18, I was being told to get preventative Botox.
“Over the years I was offered almost every beauty treatment imaginable. Facials. Lasers. Injectables. Endless promises that the next thing would make me ‘better’.
“And because the world tells women they are a project to be fixed, I believed it. Isn’t that extraordinary?”
Reflecting on her experience, Amy added: “If someone whose appearance was constantly celebrated could feel THAT insecure, I often think, what must millions of women who never received that validation be carrying?

“Imagine if we invested as much in our nervous systems as we do our skin…
“As much in our joy as we do wrinkle prevention.
“As much in self-respect as we do self-correction.”
She now describes herself as a “qualitarian”, meaning she prioritises the quality and nutritional value of food rather than following rigid diets or counting calories.
It marks a huge change for Amy, who shot to fame after winning the 2011 reality show Signed by Katie Price, beating fellow contestant Rylan Clark into second place.
However, she and Katie soon fell out after Amy claimed promised prizes, including a luxury holiday, a Range Rover and a magazine cover, failed to materialise.

She refused to sign with Katie’s Black Sheep Management agency, claiming there was not enough work on offer, and said the experience had turned her life “upside down”.
Today, Amy continues to embrace her new direction as a wellness influencer alongside raising her daughter.
