ALESHA Dixon ‘pushed’ for her boyband star ex-boyfriend to be part of the Mis-Teeq reunion concert after they had a secret two-year relationship.
Today The Sun told how, while Mis-Teeq have secured the likes of R&B star Kele Le Roc and garage singer Malika, they were snubbed by soul legend Shola Ama and Grammy-nominated Brit girl group FLO.

One act who has signed on for the show, which takes place at the OVO Arena Wembley next week, is boyband Damage – and Alesha, 47, had a secret two-year relationship with member Noel Sampson in the late nineties.
A well-placed insider said: “Mis-Teeq wanted a total girl power vibe as that’s what they’re all about.
“Alesha was on board with that at first but then suggested Damage and was really pushing for the boys to be a part of the show.
“Sabrina [Washington] and Su-Elise [Nash] love Damage but tried to stick to the original plan for female acts only. When Alesha wouldn’t let it go they gave in.”

The Sun has reached out to Alesha’s representative for comment.
Damage – also made up of Jade Jones, Rashaan J Bromfield and Andrez Harriot – shot to fame in the mid nineties and are known for hits including Forever and Wonderful Tonight.
Noel, who is currently in a relationship, previously opened up about his two-year romance with Alesha before she was famous.
Speaking previously about their relationship, he said: “From the moment I met Alesha, she was the way she is now – headstrong, beautiful, with an amazing heart.
