ROYAL Mail has revealed the UK postcodes set to suffer delays once again while many are facing weeks without post.
The mail service confirmed that 125 postcodes will continue to face issues with deliveries in an update shared today.
On September 4, Royal Mail explained that lack of staff and resourcing problems are responsible for the ongoing disruption.
The organisation explained: “We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week.
“In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. In those cases, we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers,” the statement continued.
“We also provide targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore our service to the high standard our customers would normally receive.”

Areas up and down the nation are impacted by the interruptions, with the likes of Oxford, Reading, Warrington, Loughborough, Margate, Dagenham and Dundee all listed among the most impacted currently.
It comes as residents in some areas have been forced to queue for hours at Royal Mail offices after going up to six weeks without post deliveries.
Locals in Bridgwater, Somerset were photographed lining up outside the town’s delivery office this week, in the hopes of collecting long-awaited parcels and letters.
Many say they have been forced to go without prescriptions, bank documents and other essential post in light of the delays caused by staffing issues.

People have been issued two hour time slots between 8am and 10am and 4pm and 6pm, with the short windows resulting in long queues at the collection sites.
Commenting on the chaos caused by the delays, a Royal Mail spokesperson said: “We know how important it is that customers receive their mail when expected and take concerns about deliveries very seriously.
“Short-term sickness has affected deliveries in parts of Bridgwater. Additional staffing is now in place and our posties are working to clear any outstanding mail as quickly as possible.”
