ALEXANDER ISAK scored twice inside nine minutes to fire Liverpool into the lead at Ipswich, and give fans reason to believe he might be back to his best.
Isak scored just three goals in the Premier League for the Reds last season following a record-breaking £125million transfer from Newcastle.
But with a full pre-season behind him the Swede has hit the ground running this year.
The 26-year-old scored twice against the newly-promoted Tractor Boys to put Andoni Iraola into a comfortable early lead away from home.
Isak also netted against Nottingham Forest last week for his first of the season, meaning he has already equalled his league tally from last season.
And fans online believe the Liverpool ace may finally be ready to live up to expectations.
Taking to social media, on fan said: “ISAK IS COOKING. Two in nine minutes, absolute menace.”
A second said: “If he stays fit he’s scoring a guaranteed 25 league goals.”
A third added: “We robbed Newcastle.”
Another said: “WHAT AN HIT FROM ISAK, FAIRS MAN HE MIGHT JUST BE BACK.”

Isak put the ball in the net for a third time in the 33rd minute, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
Curiously, all of Isak’s goals so far this season have been assisted by Cody Gakpo, who seemed destined to leave Anfield for the most of the summer amid interest from Tottenham and Manchester City.
How different this season could have started for Liverpool and Isak if Gakpo had not been around…
