THIS is the miraculous moment a newborn was taken out of a sanitary bin inside a Malaysian airport toilet.
Footage shows the rescue of the boy, which still had his umbilical cord and placenta attached – indicating it was dumped shortly after birth.
Two men, including one wearing a customs uniform, carefully lift the tiny baby from the blue-lined sanitary bin.
The boy can be heard crying loudly as he is brought out before staff carry him towards a nearby sink.
The video has since gone viral on Malaysian social media.
A cleaner reportedly discovered the child after hearing cries from inside the bin in Penang International Airport in Bayan Lepas on August 31.

The child has since been taken to hospital for treatment, but his current condition remains unclear.
A Malaysian woman, 23, and a man from Myanmar, 22, were later detained as part of the investigation into the incident.
Southwest district police chief Anuwal Ab Wahab said officers identified the woman after reviewing CCTV footage.
She was arrested at Kompleks Bukit Jambul, a shopping centre near the airport.

Further inquiries then led police to the Myanmar national, who works as a security guard, but did not have valid travel documents.
The pair are being investigated over the alleged abandonment of a child under 12 by a parent or caregiver.
Abortion is only legal and “permissible” in Malaysia if it poses a risk to the mother’s life, but is not available on request and the law is especially ambiguous.
As many as 18 cases of baby abandonment were recorded across the country during the first three months of 2026, according to local media.
The harrowing incident comes 10 years after a newborn boy was found dead inside a sanitary bin in a toilet at Tampines MRT station in Singapore.
And just days ago, The Sun reported that a dead infant was discovered in a bin – wrapped in a plastic bag, alongside the placenta.
The incident happened at an estate in Várzea Grande, in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, in the early hours of July 23.
CCTV footage showed the mother, 25, discarding her premature child after giving birth.
When police questioned her, she told them she had suspected she was pregnant because of bleeding – but had not received prenatal care or told her husband about it.
