WOMEN are more likely to plump for a dad bod than demand an Adonis. And being short is fine too.
The great news for a lot of men comes from a study that found women’s physical standards are lower than expected.
Researchers found 35 per cent of women would date a man whose physique is rated as below average. While 23 per cent said they only fancy someone with a good body.
The other 42 per cent are somewhere in the middle.
Only five per cent of women need a lover to be at least 6ft. While 85 per cent would date a man of under 5ft 10in.
The Sun’s resident sexpert Georgie Culley said: “These stats don’t come as a surprise to me. Generally, men who aren’t gym-honed or over 6ft have better personalities and are better in bed.

The surveys of 1,100 people by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim also found half of men and 35 per cent of women need a partner with an above-average face.
Study author Dr Marius Stavang said in the Evolution and Human Behavior journal: “Women’s standards for physical attractiveness did not appear excessive, sometimes falling below the expected population average.”
