ANDY Carroll has slashed £1m off the price of the Essex mansion he shared with ex-wife Billi Mucklow.
The ex-Liverpool and Newcastle striker, 37, bought the Grade II-listed Jacobean mansion from Sir Rod Stewart in 2019 for £4.1million.

However, Andy put the house and 25-acre estate up for sale last year following his split from wife and former TOWIE star Billi Mucklow.
It was initially listed at £8.5million before being reduced to an asking price of £7.5million.
Earlier this year, The Sun revealed how the once-pristine football pitch had overgrown and the swimming pool was in a state of neglect.
Our exclusive pictures showed murky green water in the outdoor swimming pool.

Meanwhile, every trace of the white touchlines had disappeared under long grass.
A source told us: “Rod would be disappointed in the way the once-loved, preened and immaculate football pitch has been left in a state of neglect.
“The dugout to his football pitch, which previously was so well maintained and where Rod held celebrity footy games, is now completely overgrown.”
Our source added: “The problems don’t just stop with the football pitch, the swimming pool now looks like a frog pond, with green algae carpeting it.

“Any hopes of selling the house for near the asking price have faded away as the entire estate needs tens of thousands thrown at it to get back to its former glory.
“Any prospective buyer must have deep pockets and be prepared to give it the necessary maintenance to transform the mucky mansion and give it a new lease of life.
“At the right price the property will sell, having bought it in 2019 for £4.1m, it is crazy that Andy is still holding out for pretty much double that.”
The Sun has contacted Andy’s representatives for comment.
Since splitting from Billi, footballer Andy has been in an on-off relationship with make-up artist Lou Teasdale.
