DONALD Trump says Britain is facing “disaster” if it doesn’t deal with its energy and immigration crisis.
The US President warned Andy Burnham that the UK is at a “tipping point” and demanded action from the government.

It comes as a decision is expected on the approval of two oil and gas fields off the coast of Scotland.
Speaking in an interview with GB News, Trump also took aim at the small boats crisis.
He said: “Look, your country’s in trouble. You’re on the edge of disaster.
“I call it a tipping point. More than most countries, you have a tremendous immigration problem, and you have a tremendous energy problem.

“Your energy is three, four times higher than it should be. If you don’t stop people pouring into your country from all over the world, you’re not going to have a country left.”
Speaking to Bev Turner, the presenter of The Late Show Live, Trump said that during his first phone call with Andy Burnham he raised the two issues.
On migration, the President warned that “you won’t have any country left” if the small boat crisis continues.
It comes after it was revealed that people smugglers are reportedly being forced to resort to “mega-dinghies” and have doubled the price for migrants to make the crossing.

The average number of migrants per boat has increased tenfold since 2018 – as smuggling gangs continue to load more and more people on.
More than 16,513 people crossed the Channel between January 1 and September 1 this year, marking a 43 per cent decrease on the previous year.
And, the average number of migrants per vessel has increased from seven to 67.6 over the past eight years.
More than £1billion has now been handed to France to help stopping Channel crossings.
Trump championed his own success in tackling migration and said Britain could do the same.
The US President said he wished new PM Andy Burnham “a lot of luck” with the energy and immigration crisis.
He added, however, that the energy issue is “easy to solve” as he urged using the North Sea oil to address the problem, he added that immigration would be a harder problem.
In one of his first phone calls since taking office the new PM spoken to President Trump and invited him to come and visit his home city, Manchester, for next year’s G20 summit.
Trump had previously described Burnham as “a mayor of a town” and had slammed the PM as “extremely liberal.”
Burnham himself has also fired shots at the president, saying in 2017 that he would refuse to meet him as a “matter of principle” after accusing Trump of sharing “hateful extremist material” online.

But the PM has since wheeled back his remarks, saying that his plan to deal with Trump will be about “being yourself” while also “respecting the office, the UK-US relationship.”
In their first phone call Burnham talked about football, Manchester and the Iran War with President Trump.
