RICHARLISON has been left out of Tottenham’s Premier League squad as they prepare to sell the Brazilian.

The striker, wanted by Trabzonspor, is not part of the North Londoners’ plans this season, despite being the club’s top-scorer last term with 11 Premier League goals.

According to Spurs sources, he was informed of the club’s decision in advance of Tuesday’s Prem transfer deadline so that he could have the option to leave once the club received a suitable offer.

Spurs had agreed a £35million fee with Richarlison’s former club Everton, but personal terms could not be agreed.

The ex-Watford forward then took to social media to hit out at Spurs where he vowed to “NEVER AGAIN” have anyone decide his future for him.

Within that emotional message, he revealed he wanted to move back to his “beloved” Everton but that due to negotiations happening “only in the way certain people wanted”, the switch was off.

And that “despite this turmoil, I am under contract at Spurs and will remain at the club’s disposal”.

Richarlison is subject of interest from Turkey, with Mo Salah’s new club Trabzonspor particularly keen.

Turkey’s transfer window shuts on Friday, while the Saudi Pro League – where clubs have held a long-term interest in Richarlison – can still bring in players until October 12.

Richarlison started the first game of the season at Brentford, where Spurs were crushed 3-0, but was left out of the squad for Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Newcastle.
