A HOSPITAL patient allegedly exposed himself and sexually assaulted a staff member.

Police were called to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottinghamshire on August 25 following reports a man had exposed himself.

On arrival, officers were also informed the same person had inappropriately touched a staff member.

Colin Worley, 58, has been charged with one count of sexual assault and two counts of exposure.

He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court last Saturday (August 29) and was remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on September 26.

PC Joseph Jacks, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We will always take any report of sexual assault, or violence against women and girls, extremely seriously.

“In this case, officers arrived within minutes of receiving the report and, within two days, secured an arrest, charge and court appearance.

“We would like to thank the victim for her bravery and reassure the public that we are here to listen.

“We will investigate every report we receive and do everything in our power to secure justice for victims.”
