LORD Sugar has parted company with another former winner of The Apprentice – this time the 2023 show’s Marnie Swindells.
Fans of the BBC One hit will recall she wanted to be the next Eddie Hearn and sank the £250,000 investment into her business, Bronx Boxing Ltd.

But new accounts for her company show that the good Lord has ended their partnership.
A business expert said: “This was done very quietly and you’d only know if you spotted the change in the small print of the firm’s documentation.
“There’s nothing to indicate why it happened but it’s not unusual for Lord Sugar to invest in an individual then separate himself from them after a year or two.”
Until 2022, he was the director of the beach and loungewear company run by Sian Gabbidon who won The Apprentice in 2018. Other winners Lord Sugar walked away from include former plumber Joseph Valente from 2015’s series, food entrepreneur Alana Spencer, who triumphed in 2016, and James White, the 2017 victor who ran an IT recruitment firm.

Marnie bagged the big jackpot on the Apprentice with her dream of managing and promoting female fighters.
She revealed: “Even though women’s boxing has been on a massive trajectory itself, the actual business side of boxing still remains quite untouched from a woman’s touch.
“There isn’t a female promoter that you can name, a top female manager, a female Eddie Hearn or a female Ben Shalom.
“So I would love to step into those shoes one day. I would love to take up the mantle.”

But in an official “Termination of a Director Appointment” filed to Companies House, it showed that a Lord Alan Michael Sugar had officially left the business.
So if Marnie still wants to pick up the big mantle, it looks like she’ll have to do it without the big hitter’s dough.

Holly Willoughby will cement her TV comeback by returning to the National Television Awards to present a prestigious gong.
The former This Morning host will preside over the Authored Documentary category, with stars nominated including Jesy Nelson, Sharon Osbourne and Sir Chris Hoy.
It’s been two years since she attended the annual bash.
In 2023, the audience jeered as This Morning was announced as a nominee following Phillip Schofield’s scandal-hit departure, leaving Holly and co-host Alison Hammond to smile in front of cameras.
Holly later left the ITV programme but last month launched lifestyle show Together on YouTube.
Teri Hatcher from Desperate Housewives will also present a gong. Joel Dommett will host the bash at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday, live on ITV1.
Netflix is releasing a new documentary series looking at the life of Friends star Matthew Perry. Called The One About Matthew Perry, the three-parter will be a “candid” look at his rise and private struggles and include “never-before-heard testimonies from Perry’s sister and lifelong best friends”.

Pete and Sophie Sandiford have revealed plenty of big names love Gogglebox.
Sophie, who joined the Channel 4 show with her brother in 2017, said: “The craziest one was when we said Jane McDonald was the UK’s equivalent of Mariah Carey and Mariah Carey tweeted about it.”
Pete said: “Mariah Carey tweeted going, “I’m America’s Jane!!!?!? Thank you gorgeous!”
“Paul Rudd also did an interview on Radio 2 and he said he loves Gogglebox. Now, Paul Rudd is my most favourite actor.
“So for him to mention Gogglebox, I was literally picking my jaw up off the floor. I couldn’t believe it.”
Gogglebox is vying for an NTA in the Factual category next week.
