BUSINESSES will benefit from a new mobile connectivity “network slice” in the latest initiative from VodafoneThree.
Firms such as British Airways, Co-op Live and TATA Steel will receive a boost from reserved dedicated 5G+ capacity.
The first national business-only system will separate traffic destined for firms from consumer demand.
Chiefs at VodafoneThree insist that firms can aid their productivity even when the network is at its busiest.
The company say they that with more reliance on the network firms can’t afford “inconsistent performance” which can lead to missed customer calls.
It comes as Prime Minister Andy Burnham says he wants to build “growth in every postcode” as part of plans to boost the economy.

Manchester Airports Group bosses say that signing up will help staff communicate with colleagues around the airfield.
Employees should expect to use the service without any specialised equipment.
The move comes as the firm also announces the launch of Vodafone SuperMobile and Vodafone TV.
