A MAN was allegedly spiked and sexually assaulted by a woman before she robbed him at a bus stop.
Police said the victim, a man in his 50s, was approached by the woman at a bus shelter under Spa Bridge in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, last month.
The woman, believed to be in her 30s, is said to have struck up conversation and offered him a drink which he reluctantly accepted.
But the man then lost consciousness before he was sexually assaulted.
North Yorkshire Police said the victim’s cash and belongings were stolen, including some artwork he was carrying.
The force said that following the incident, it’s believed a member of the public approached the victim at the bus shelter to check on him.

It is not exactly known when the shocking incident took place other than between Monday August 10 and Wednesday August 26.
The suspect is described as a woman in her 30s wearing heavy makeup with red streaks in her hair.
She was wearing a long, black skirt and a black top with white markings on the sleeves.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for that person to come forward along with anyone else who may have come to the assistance of a man who may have appeared disorientated.
