An ambulance systems failure is causing problems for paramedics in Brisbane.
Nine Queensland reported on Thursday night the fault was caused by a “Computer Aided Dispatch” (CAD) system upgrade.
Computer screens froze and emergency call takers were required to relay important information to ambulances by radio.
Triple Zero calls were not impacted.

Paramedics on the frontline described the situation as a “nightmare” to the broadcaster.
Nine said a fix had been identified, but was yet to be rolled out.
