Commuters have been warned to expect delays and disruption as Dublin Fire Brigade dealt with a fire in a building at the bottom of Grafton Street in the city centre.
The incident was on the section of the street facing Trinity College and its closure has been disrupting Luas and Dublin Bus services.
Luas Green Line services are not operating through the city centre between the Dominick Street and St Stephen’s Green stops.
The operator said on social media that the disruption is ” due to a non-Luas related incident”.
Dublin Bus has warned passengers of “delays and diversions” in the city centre “due to an incident near Trinity College”.
It added that buses will be unable to “unable to serve stops on Nassau Street and Kildare Street until further notice”.
