A NEW Big Brother housemate has hit the headlines after taking a shoe blunder in her stride.

Oxford student Charlotte, 18, proved she was a total pro on launch night when her heel gave way, handling the red-carpet nightmare by casually popping off her prosthetic legs to keep the party moving.

The 23rd season of the popular reality show officially launched on ITV2 and ITVX on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best opened the door to 16 new faces who are ready to compete for the £100,000 prize.

During the show launch, Charlotte was seen struggling with her shoes as she was making her way into the house.

As Will Best ran over to help the contestant, the cameras panned away from the scene.

Charlotte Nott is an 18-year-old student from Oxford and a massive Big Brother fan.

Having watched every series since the show returned to ITV, she was ready to apply and take part as soon as she turned 18.

With her bleached blonde hair and curvy physique, the young student describes herself as looking “quite sweet” while actually being “very weird”.

Her best personality trait is “outgoing”, as she sees herself being able to “talk to anyone”.

However, she also admitted to be “very stubborn” at times.

The youngest contestant of the season has two tattoos, of which one being her own handprint and the other one saying ‘Forever’.

Ahead of entering the house, she said: “My favourite physical feature about myself is my boobs.”

Charlotte is a quadruple amputee, as she had the lower parts of her arms and legs removed after suffering from meningitis.

With her prosthetic legs on, she is 5’8” tall and without them exactly 4 foot.

Despite her disability, the young woman sparks with positive energy.

She said: “As a quadruple amputee, people are surprised at anything I do, even normal things like cooking, doing my makeup, stuff like that.”

ITV confirmed that a number of tweaks were made to make the Big Brother house more accessible for Charlotte.
