Burger King takes on KFC with new menu item hitting ALL restaurants across UK today

BURGER King is taking on KFC with a brand new item landing on the menu today.

The iconic fast food joint is known for its signature Whopper, crispy fries and crunchy onion rings – but something new and delicious has arrived.

Burger King is branching further into the world of fried chicken to give competitor, KFC, a run for its money.

Crispy Chicken Tenders are now available on the Burger King menu, complemented by a range of tasty new dips.

While Burger King fans will likely already have tried the likes of the Chicken Nuggets, Chicken Royale, Chicken Melt and Chicken Fingers already on the menu, the Crispy Chicken Tenders made its debut today (September 15).

The new chicken strips are described as “juicy, crispy chicken tenders made with 100% chicken breast, coated in a golden, seasoned crumb and cooked to perfection”.

There’s two more revamped takes on classics in the form of BBQ Mayo and Spicy Smokehouse Ketchup.

For those who can’t get enough of chicken, the new Burger King Chicken Share Box includes four Crispy Chicken Tenders, 12 Nuggets and four dips, from £10.49.
