Jack Shepherd has been handed a 20-month prison sentence alongside a four-year extended licence period after violently attacking his girlfriend, which included stabbing her with pointed barbecue tongs.
The 39-year-old received his sentence at Isleworth Crown Court, following earlier guilty pleas to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm as well as a count of criminal damage.
Occurring in February and June of last year, the attacks triggered Shepherd’s recall to custody.
In 2018, he received a six-year prison term for manslaughter following the death of 24-year-old Charlotte Brown, who died when his speedboat crashed on their initial date.
Shepherd had evaded his Old Bailey trial while hiding in Georgia, prior to being extradited to the UK to complete his sentence.
During the recent incidents, Shepherd held down and punched his partner in an argument, before stabbing her with sharp barbecue tongs when she commented that he had burnt a pizza.
