NESTLÉ has confirmed it has axed a popular drink in UK supermarkets after 41 years.
Shoppers flocked to social media after noticing the product had disappeared from shelves and were gutted to hear the news.
Nestlé has confirmed it has discontinued a beloved product from its UK range – and shoppers will be sad to see it go.
Perrier Lemon is no longer available after the confectionery giant confirmed its departure from the retail market.
Perrier first launched in the UK in 1863, with its lemon variation landing on shelves around the world in 1985.
Now, after 41 years, the lemon-flavoured carbonated drink is no longer available to UK customers.

The confirmation came when a shopper took to X to voice their concern after noticing the citrusy drink had disappeared from supermarket shelves.
“@NestleCare I’m unable to find the original Perrier Lemon,” they wrote.
“Instead, the Maison Perrier line is stocked everywhere which definitely is a much lower quality product.
“Can you please advise if this is still being manufactured and if so, which retailers/suppliers can we get it from?”

The company soon responded with sad news, confirming that the item is no longer available in the UK.
“We understand it’s disappointing when a favourite product is no longer available,” Nestlé wrote.
“Perrier Lemon has been discontinued in the UK.”
However, fans of the bubbly drink can still purchase other Perrier products in stores, including Classic Perrier sparkling water and the new Maison Perrier range.
It’s not the first product Nestlé has discontinued in recent years, with a number of items disappearing from stores, including:

- Dark Mint KitKat
- Vegan KitKat
- Smarties Buttons
- Quality Street Collisions chocolate bar
- Breakaway and Yorkie biscuit bars
